Meet Our Instructors
The co-owner and Chief Instructor is Ms.
Kim Bantum.  She is a 3rd degree black
belt.  Ms. Bantum's tenure as a member
of the U.S. National Gymnastics Team
compliments the Leadership and Master
Club programs at our school by bringing
a new dimension to our strength and
flexibility training.
The co-owner and Senior Chief
Instructor is Ms. Maria Pino.  She is a
4th degree black belt and National
Weapons Champion.  Ms. Pino has the
unique ability to teach students of all
ages, from the very young Tiny Tigers to
adults.
Senior Instructor Mr. Jesse Pino is
a role model for hundreds of
students.  As a 4th degree black
belt, he epitomizes the traditional
values of Songahm Taekwondo
including courtesy, honesty, loyalty,
and perseverance.  Mr. Pino also
enjoys pursuing his musical
interests in a band.
Assistant Instructor Ms. Tavanee Pino
started her Taekwondo training when she
was four years old.  She has been training
for thirteen years.  She is the 2003 Nevada
State Champion in Sparring, and the 2005
World Championships Bronze Medalist
and 2006 Silver Medalist in weapons.  Not
only does she enjoy practicing Taekwondo
and teaching students, she also enjoys to
dance, listen to music, hang out with
friends, and go shopping.
